Spantech has always invested in research and development to ensure their technology remains at the cutting edge of the construction industry.
A detailed research and development program has investigated all aspects of panel behaviour including arch compression, cyclone resistant and use of alternative metals.
Research on new building systems and new concepts for all types of construction are continually pursued by the company.
Research is supervised by qualified independent Engineers in conjunction with universities, including Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane and James Cook University, Townsville.
The Australian Department of Defence has also conducted a series of full scale explosive trials on the performance of the Spantech Explosives Storehouse.
