| Shade Structures and Walkways
Also referred to as Multipurpose Court Covers, Spantech's open sided Shade Structures provide covered play or learning areas with a low maintenance, long life solution to year-round protection from the elements.
Clients have found Spantech Shade Structures are often more economical than shade sails over the longer term.
Free spanning buildings up to 40 metres wide are waterproof and cool. Truss free design provides almost no place for birds to roost or balls to get stuck.
Walkways may be constructed from curved panels for distinctive architectural appeal or from straight panels formed on site to run the length of the walkway. Spantech's straight panel can span up to 8 metres reducing the number of posts required for the walkway.

Schools, Classrooms, Administration and Amenity Buildings
Spantech has provided the roofing system for a number of complete "green field" school projects including Mount View High School in Cessnock, NSW.
Two story class room blocks were constructed using the Spantech 300 Series Panel. Buildings were linked by Spantech covered walkways. The Assembly Hall included performing arts and sporting facilities, with assembly seating for 1,000 students.
When used in such large scale projects, Spantech is a very economical alternative to conventional roofing. |
